I’ve never been happier to climb back into my car. It’s also cleaner than it has been in months.

The Fusion is a fine car for a family sedan, but that isn’t saying a lot. It. Has. No. Power. The 1.5 Ecoboost should be in nothing bigger than a Focus. In the Fusion I averaged 23 mpg, because to actually keep up with traffic, you have to stay in boost. Terrible car/engine combo.

I just imagine what the 3 cyl 1.0 would feel like in the Fusion, which is a model in Europe.

Lol. In Europe you can get it with a 1.0 Ecoboost engine though.

I didn’t see you post. Just said the same thing.

Probably with a manual though, as that is the only way you can get 1.0 here. It makes less power than the 1.6 the 1.5 replaced. I feel like the average commute here is a bit more fast paced than over there, but I could be wrong.

My friend’s mum has a Fusion. Apparently there’s some sort of electrical deity going on in it. If you leave any electrical thing on in the car at all, the battery will drain faster than a beer keg at a college party. Dealer apparently keeps claiming nothing wrong too.

The loaner I had wouldn’t stay connected to my USB connection. Other than the engine and that, the car was fine. It handled quite well, and was fairly well put together. No rattles, no squeaks. The interior trim was miles better than my Mom’s $40k+ Azera Limited. It just needs the 2.0 Ecoboost to be liveable.

Ugh dealer just called my car is done but I can’t make it before they close with traffic. I like this cushy loaded loaner but I miss my manual transmission.

Ye’, it is a manual.
