!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Basically the 6.2 from the Denali, the new 10L80, and some dress up pieces.

Oh yeah. I’d drive the hell out of that.
Too bad I won’t be able to afford it.

You and me both. Insane what those go for these days.

I’d guess this would msrp north of 55k

Basically a modern day Cadillac.

I’d guess it’ll land closer to 70k. A well-optioned Premier (did they get rid of LTZ?) easily crests 70 grand.

People say truck prices are crazy!
![]() 04/06/2017 at 09:41 |

Yeah, 70k would be my SWAG. Would be a sweet ride, but that’s too rich for me—

Here we go again, they did this before with the 6.2 and 6L80e in 2010 (I think).
“Oh, you want a bigger engine and better transmission for your Tahoe? Well here you go! What? No, you can’t have the Towing or Off-Road package with the bigger engine, that would be ridiculous! Next you’re gonna tell me you want a Duramax in the 2500 Suburban!! Ha!”

Now lower it a few inches and you have a winner. You know nobody’s going to be taking it off road anyway.
... I mean obviously aside from whoever took that promo shot. But even my Civic can handle that kind of “off roading.”

I’d take the RST internals with this suspension/wheel/tire setup.

Ahh yes! Sleeper mode engaged.
![]() 04/06/2017 at 09:56 |

Yeah. I really prefer buying new, but a new Tahoe isn’t ever going to happen for me.

The lack of chrome bits pleases me greatly

Considering the absolute cheapest no option 2wd cloth seat Tahoe you can get stickers for $48,500, I’d be shocked if you could get this for under $65k ... and not at all shocked if it was $80k.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
But, the Suburban is the one that needs the extra beef.
Also, too bad these are so expensive. I’d easily trade in my minivan for a Suburban, especially one with the 6.2 V8.

Kinda weird none of the big American three have made a X5M, SQ7 or GLE63 competitor yet.

What about the Grand Cherokee SRT8?

My only issue with the current Suburbans is the headlights. I really like how the whole truck looks, except for those bizarre headlights.

Oops, sorry. Completely forgot about it though I really like it.

...and the Magnetic Ride Control suspension, and optionally big ass brakes/Borla exhaust.
That’s very interesting. I wouldn’t buy it, but it’s interesting.

You could do a lot better though.

Sure, for more $.

True, though for the same price as the Chevy I’d go for a Land Cruiser, X5, XC90 etc.
But as far as Tahoes go, this dechromed one with the V8 seems pretty sweet. Not my thing, but I see why you like it.

Chevy has always done such a nice job on their SUVs again and again. Especially the last 2 gens and even some of the later GMT800 have aged so well.

It will get stuck in the deep snow here and I will drive by and laugh....whats the point of these things? Put a plow in the front and maybe it’s useful.

Who the heck do you think started the whole market segment?
