Both of the cars I’ve owned have been green. For all intents and purposes, this is the superior green car but it’s still no TrailBlazer.

I have a V70 and I am currently struggling with replacing the headlight bulb.

Ah, my bad. Sadly I am no help as my headlights function perfectly. Which sort of V70 do you have?

a basic 2.4L automatic. It’s a 2005 US model with 210,000 miles.

Very nice, this one is a 2001 T5 automatic that is on the verge of 150,000 miles. It’s currently at a mechanic getting most things fixed.

How is your transmission? It’s my only area of concern.

It sometimes shifts hard, but not enough to warrant major concern.

Mine clunks hard from 2nd gear to 1st gear when coming to a stop, especially after travelling an hour or more. I’m afraid I did not take care of the tranny fluid like I should have years back.

Hard to say, my dad’s at 218K is kind of jerky but it performs just fine. As for the bulbs, changing a turn signal was painful enough so I pity you in your venture. For the right side at least, they recommend removing the airbox.

Yes, that is exactly what I ended up doing, removed the airbox. It still was not easy. I think that your linked video is the one that eventually put me on the right path a few weeks ago. Cheers.
