Anyone else think the Regal Wagon looks exactly like the Kia Optima Wagon?

Now I know what you’re thinking: “The Buick Regal TourX looks nothing like the Kia Optima SportsWagon. Ian, you’ve clearly gone insane.” And I completely agree with you. But then what about the headline? That’s called clickbait, @ me binch.

Obviously the Regal and Optima look very different in most major ways, but one huge way they look very alike is the D-pillars. Buick even went more Kia than Kia with the chrome trim running up and around.

And as an unrelated point the chrome trim in the taillights looks awful.

it works on the Citroen. I don’t think it translates to the modern world well.

The plastic cladding is dumb, but at least they didn’t jack up the ride height.
