i wish they would’ve stuck with a horizontal grille shape like the GLE63 and GLS, but hey, aerodynamics (not) and aggressiveness and marketing I guess

All future AMG cars (probably S-Class aside) will have the vertical grille. The new E63 have it, and the facelifted AMG GT got it too, unfortunately (not a fan of it on the GT).

I mean I got to be honest, I kinda like that Mercedes likes seeing how many places it can shove that AMG V8. It’s quickly becoming a favorite brand for that philosophy.
