Discussion? If they aren’t going to confirm my biases, I don’t want to read what they have to say!

I never made it out of 15" rim sizes on any of my former (or current.. huh.) rigs. 35x12.50s are pretty much my max for a usable tire. My old Xterra handled them beautifully. Except in crosswinds. Oh, god. The crosswinds. There was one 4 hour trip back from Chicago where I was wishing for 31s. The steering wheel was cranked halfway almost the entire time.

35x12.5s on a 15" wheel? That’s some sidewall!

35x12.50-15s on 7" Pathfinder Lego wheels.

I bought the tires used and by accident. I was in a rush and thought they were 33s..

Well they look good. Did they rub?

Oh God, yes they rubbed. A body lift and creative use of a Sawzall and Hammer fixed that though.

Here’s what it looked like on 32x11.50s and a PML. A few Keystones on the hood for good measure.

That’s a small price to pay to have a Pathfinder with 35s, there can’t be too many of those running around. Probably for a reason, it must have been a dog without a supercharger and a regear.

It wasn’t quick but it could sing if you you wound it up. Gears weren’t an issue in the 1g X. 6 shooters had 4.60 gears and 4 bangers had 4.90. Stock!
