For anyone who saw this post a couple of weeks ago:

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Last week I was copied on a letter to the dealership from an attorney representing my Credit Union threatening legal action to force the dealership to repay the loan, and miracle of all miracles, I got a call from the Credit Union this morning telling me they have been recorded as the lien holder on the title. I still haven’t heard shit from the dealership, tags and title lady or the GM. Go figure.

Glad to hear it’s all resolved; that sounded like quite the ordeal!

Congrats! I was in the process of buying my car when I read your first post. There was nothing I could have written as the American system with temp tags and so on sounds pretty weird to me, but I did feel for you.

Excellent! I hate that it has to come to stuff like that, but at least it is resolved

Did you leave some messages for the president? Glad to hear it worked out for you.

No, but I wouldn’t be surprised to hear from him after the review of the dealership they solicited goes live :)
