That means you set up your withholding correctly!
Many people who get a large refund don’t realize that all they have done is given the IRS an interest-free loan of THEIR OWN MONEY.

Well, it’s the CRA, but I get your point.
Still, it’s nice to get money back when you’re not expecting it, because hey, free money.

I don’t get as much of a refund as I used to, then realized I was in a different tax bracket than I was 10 years ago. Go figure, make more money pay more taxes.

Have kids, put them in daycare, get a big tax return...
realize how much daycare costs..
