That’s how I look backing into spots. Even with my camera, it still takes me like four tries to get in between the lines.

Forget the camera (unless you have a centerline point-of-reference, like a sign-post to aim for). The side mirrors work better.

The irony is that they’re almost dead center on the line.

Lol, I never use those. I’ve been kind of spoiled in terms of visibility. My first car was a regular cab Ford Ranger, and now I have a Toyota RAV4, which already has good visibility for a crossover, with a backup camera.

Mmm, I love cars with good visibility!
Yeah, mirrors are your best bet. All you gotta do is try to get the distance between the rear tire and the line, equal on both sides. Then it’s just a matter of making sure it’s straight so that the front end follows suit.

“*razzberry* ”
- a BMW owner who parks carefully
‘course, BMW aficionados on Oppo are in (hopefully) a different subset than Richard Noggin Bimmer owners. For Oppo’s consideration: the people who drive and park BMW’s that way may feel empowered to be even worse cuz they have BMW’s, but they’d be, and drive like, tools no matter what they drove.
That’s my theory, and I’m sticking to it! lol

Eh, it’s a supermarket parking lot, snow has been gone for about a week now, and they left sometime during the 30 minutes that I was shopping, so that’d be some coincidence.
