I also took a couple pictures of my car while I was at it...

For now, the best lens I’ve ever tried and by a huge margin... Not too practical with an APSC sensor like mine, but still. Really good. I should rent a 5D Mk4 with it next time :)

I borrowed a first gen 70-200 F2.8 L IS years ago... It definitely left an impression. Being that I was doing photography on a budget, I had already bought the 70-200 F4 L, which was not offered with IS at the time. Still a good, sharp lens, but just doesn’t quite have the pop the 2.8 IS does...

Sad to say, I haven’t been busting out my photography equipment a whole lot lately. I could at least use a new body. I’ve still got an ancient 20D.

Wow, those look amazing! I really like the depth of field the lens gives.

The 70-200 f2.8l IS is one of my favorite lenses. Literally the one I would never part with. It’s a true workhorse and so versatile.

Ok so now im jealous. the 70-200 2.8 is a lens very high up my want list. How did you find it? and what body was it on for those shots as they are rather splendid.

Sadly, it’s not mine and only a rental for a few days :(

I plan on buying one sometimes soon but it’s not on my budget list for now... As for the body it’s my good ol’ T2i, so really nothing special lol. I wish I had a 5D Mk3 at least, because I can’t really go over 400 iso with the T2i without pictures becoming too grainy and not acceptable. Interior shots are done at like 1/5s shutter speed and it’s not practical even though the IS in that lens is great... I wish I could use something like F/8 at 3200 iso and still get sharp dark interior pictures, but I just can’t do it.

The APS-C format is not practical too for interior shots and narrow places with such a long focal...
