People on the west coast, due to the time difference with the east coast, tend to start much earlier. Like 3+ hours earlier. Many places over there people roll in at 9-10A, but on the west coast it’s 6-7A (some lucky people that don’t deal with anyone east of them might start at 8A, but even that’s kind of rare). I haven’t ever worked for a west-coast company that started after 8A...
