Think about the cars you see on a daily basis. What’s the most common manufacturer you see on the road that no longer produces cars? I’ll include manufacturers who no longer sell cars in the US as well, such as Suzuki.

Question came to mind after seeing more Saabs in the short time I’ve been back Massachusetts than I’d seen the whole time I was in Kansas.

I see a lot of Pontiacs around here.

Pontiac, hands down.

Probably Pontiac or Oldsmobile for me.

Pontiac and Suzuki. A surprising amount of Vitaras where I live.

Definitely, I see Pontiacs all the time.

Scion...if we’re counting Pontiac and Olds. If it’s someone who legitimately isn’t around, I still see quite a few Rodeos and Troopers.

I’m thinking of the last time I saw an AMC and can’t really. Maybe a Vision? I see a lot more Aleros and G6 sedans.

Aleros mostly.

Some dickhead in an Oldsmobile Bravada nearly drove me off the road this morning, so that’s fresh in my mind; but I live in Seattle, so the answer has to be Saab, by a mile. Saturn is second.

Oldsmobile, Pontiac, and Plymouth (but only Voyagers) are probably all pretty close to tied for third.

Surprised to have seen a couple people mention Saab. Not that I’m complaining!

I think a fair fraction of our readers live in very expensive coastal places where they were once (and in a way still are) fairly common cars.

My car’s model is actually pretty rare here. At least 1-in-4 Focuses I see are STs, because that’s their main draw for most people around here.

True. And it’d make sense since that’s where I’m from and New England was always full of Saabs.

In my area, probably Saturn. You see ocassional Saabs and Suzukis, but not too many.

Here in Madison WI it’s probably a toss-up between Pontiac, Scion and Saab.

(My dad is in the DC suburbs and drives an ’07 9-3 Aero convertible he bought new.)

Maybe I just notice them because my parents had one when I was young, but I think there really are a lot of Voyagers on the road around here. Usually green or teal. On a long drive yesterday I saw two of them (definitely Voyagers, not Caravans) broken down by the side of the road.

Giving I’m a Mercury guy (obviously) I want to say Mercury, but it’s probably Pontiac or Saturn.

Those 90's Saturns are like cock-roaches, you can’t get rid of them.
