Around here, you often find ads containing words like “Ringtool” or “Tracktool”. I wouldn’t buy one of those, but at east they are honest about hooning them.

- no tracks near me
- no time to go to ones which aren’t near me

Oh man, I didn’t want my post to come out like that. I just think it’s funny when an ad for a track oriented car has a part that says “but don’t worry, I never took it to a track.”

I remember one ad stated how their car was never raced, then listed the various 1/4 mile times (with pictures of the slips) confirming the positive effect of each mod.

Because they are trying to sell their car for the most money they can to a collector rather than to someone who would just enjoy and drive the car.
