Townhomes? Shouldn’t that be an over-mileage leased German SUV?

You should replace them with Tatras or Trabants or Terraplanes.
Those shed dormers (or faux dormers?) bug me, somehow.

Garage? Ha! In my development of single family homes, I would say only 20% of people use the garage. Or if they have a two car garage they only use one side.
My father bought a Miata last year. It’s the first time in 25 years since he’s been living in his house he put something in the garage. Then again, he has an 2017 F150 and a Navigator. They don’t fit. lol

Are you trying to digitally increase the property values?

I appreciate that you’re using the staircases as buffers between the townhomes. I’ve seen others that are not so thoughtful about sounds and how sound carries.

On my little street of 5 houses, only one has a garage that regularly has two cars in it - all are 2-car garages, however. Except my house which has none. 3-car garage is coming, because we have 3 cars (soon to be 4) and come on, I’m hoping at least 2 can be inside at all times, right? Probably still no. But I can dream.

I STRUGGLE SO HARD WITH THIS!
My neighborhood almost as a whole parks their cars outside of the garages and fills the garage with stuff. Why do people do this?

What is this obsession with the colonial look in NE?

Because garages are awesome workshops. Or workout rooms. Or man caves. Or anything else that is best out of sight out of mind.
Besides why bother? A car isn’t going to break just because it isn’t in a garage. And if you have another use for that space... there’s no reason why not to make that a priority.

none of the garages that I’ve seen in to have any of those things. They’re just filled with what looks like junk from the outside or specifically, boxes of who knows what and kids toys. I love parking my car in the garage, fortunately so does my wife. It’s a lovely feeling of satisfaction for me

I see storage as a legitamate use of space, personally. The car can live outside, if you need the space for stuff that can’t.

I suggest throwing in a Tesla Roadster every so often.

Yeah, I think the real question is: Why are so many homes designed with the smallest possible two car garage when everyone knows people want to store stuff. It shouldn’t be significantly more expensive to make them a bit wider or deeper to accommodate more practical use.
