Update: Pip bip is no longer MIA, he’s just making me jealous via F1 attendance.

I’d love to, but I’m afraid putting a new roof on the house is going to eat into the fun fund too much for that trip.

Hope you have/had a great time, post more pics if you’re going again tomorrow!

Rust, is this one of your paint jobs?

Not mine personally, but one from my shop. I’m teardown/reassembly/mech and admin. Myself, and a couple friends who’ve been career body and paint techs opened our own shop a couple years ago.

Thanks! Not entirely happy with the front end fit (all aftermarket replacement, fender mounts to structure were 1/2" off, hood wasn’t perfectly square), but it looks great overall. Took a lot of work to get it straight

those aftermarket fenders are real nice, in terms of not having to mend/fix/address any problems with the originals. after the old original stuff wears/settles together. some “tolerances” ARE a bit loose on some of them though. those are sure some nice straight sides on the car. and putting it(the front clip) all right, thats some nice attention to detail there..........
