what did you connect using? when I got my Atari 800 up and running, I tried RF and composite to an LCD flat panel, and it was smeared ass. ‘course, that thing is old enough where any electrolytic caps in the video circuits have probably long since dried out.

If it’s an actual NES, don’t expect the guns to work, the NES guns are why I keep a tube tv in the house lol

I hooked it up to the RCA video inputs but it didn’t work. Ran the antenna adapter inline and it worked once I programmed channel 3 onto the TV.

I got my brother a RCA to HDMI upscaler for his N64, there’s a ton of them on Amazon - he says it’s pretty decent. There’s tons of them on Amazon for around $10, here’s one:
