Whoa!
‘Track day, bro’ before the Miata.

Right?! I can’t wait to get mine out there.

Someday.
*single wistful tear*

Some day? I have one now. Someday is my timeframe to finish the restoration.

The funny part is that I probably fit in a Sprite better than a Miata.

I think most people would. I barely fit in a NB, but my Sprite I fit great. at 6'2" my forehead is just slightly over the windshield with the stock seat, but I got lower aftermarket ones. Add an under the top roll bar and it’ll be perfect

Excellent to know. We are the same height. The most comfortable I have ever been in a first generation Miata was when the seat was removed. It was perfect to drive.

With no seat at all? Well if I ever finish her and you find yourself in CA, come take a drive in her.

Yes, no seat at all. It was surprisingly comfortable sitting only on the carpet. Thank you very much! I’ll have to take you up on that one day!

All you have to do is fix the drivetrain, then classify it as a derelict and nobody will judge its appearance.

Ha Ha Ha! That sounds ridiculously fun. I did that with my Grandfather’s Bronco build.
You are quite welcome. That is an offer for any Oppo really.

Last picture is it fully stripped and re painted. So no DERELICT. I just need to put it together now.
