Had some time yesterday to check out the classics store next to my shop. There is definitely some interesting stuff over there. Almost all of it is for sale.
Okay except this exceptionally restored FJ40. Thats a shop customers rig and it looks amazing, inside and out. #TimDreams
Okay the excalibur (or whatever they called that “neo classic” being next to a real, legit Futurliner is a bit odd, but there sure was some great stuff in there, 30's roadsters, bellairs, impallas, Viper, C3 with 4 speed. It was fun to walk around.

That FJ is immaculate. I’d almost feel bad getting it dirty. Almost.

That is a purdy FJ.

it was pretty amazing. Even the interior looked great. You could tell the same level of attention to detail wasn’t paid on the engine compartment though, judging by the steering gear.

Was too distracted by the body work lol. Now that you pointed it out it’s pretty glaring.

Oh man, is that a real GM Futurliner? And an even better question: Is that an original GM turbine cutaway or a replica? Of the surviving Futurliners, I think only a few turbines survived.

yes to both.

If I took on that FJ...that wheel/tyre combination would have to go. Too big, too stupid.

Its really just about right.

Is that the one restored by Kindiggit design (sp)? I watched those episodes, don’t know how long it took them but they had to really build about every part from scratch, I can’t imagine the cost.

That’s the one. You can tell looking underneath there isn’t much 50s left in her

I was thinking the same (Kindiggit design restored Futurliner) when I saw the you (HammerheadFistpunch) do the teaser photo the other day.
Do you know why it was/is at the shop next to yours? What’s the connection between shop and the Futurliner owner? I can’t think of his name now but I remember at one point looking him up and he’s a (surprising I know) well off entrepreneur marketing guy

That FJ looks awesome, but I can’t unsee the overspray on the tires. That makes me question the rest of the restoration a bit...

There is no overspray on the tires, its just a little concrete dust
