Fun with colors! Recommendations?

I’m having a hard time picking a color for this trike. I was thinking copper but I’m not loving it after a test run.

I grew to like the “Monster” green but not enough to spend money on it. (Real paint ain’t cheap!) Red and silver are out too. Panther Pink? That’d be interesting. Maybe just all black? Everything but the handlebars, frame and swinger will be black. That’s too much black though. I think.

I hate this part of putting things back together.

Pink as base and then use lace as a pattern for black over top of it? or vice versa.

Blue or purple, the color of the bruises you will get from falling off. See if you can match yourself to the frame.

The railroad where I grew up painted thier locomotives in international orange black and silver Always liked that shade

I like a bronze, like Subaru wheels, I was going to request something like that when I ordered a Super 73 bike, but I decided just to go for the stock grey because money.

Bruises are internal blood, so maybe go with orange or yellow or light blue.

Predator bleed green, so I’d stay away from that too.

copper, gold, and silver are almost impossible to replicate with paint.

Yeah, or a touch darker, depends on what it’s on. I was really thinking about bronze wheels for the Z but I went for gunmetal.

Gunmetal could be interesting. A bit dark but.. Heck. Everyone is going to be looking at the chubby old guy on a 3 wheeler. That’s worth investigating.

I can’t remember which 3 wheeler it was but when I was little we were only allowed to get off on the left side or we would be burned something fierce. My leg barely touched it and it was terrible. Listened to that rule after that.

Good! I had to replace all of the studs and getting the correct ones was a task, but I am happy with the result.

The exhaust was on the right from 1969 to 1987 on Hondas. I’d bet it was a 185s or 200. Those were the ones 60 Minutes did the expose on.

Was it a pull start and electric start or kick start and electric? I’m nerding out now. I’m betting it was a 200 Big Red. They didn’t start killing until the 80s and I have a theory on that. (Of course)

It was a mom’s car, special ordered, 80k original miles. 250 straight six, manual. I want to install dual exhaust and a t-5 transmission and a posi rear end. It’s so light that I should be able to break traction with it.

I believe ours was started with a kickstart, the neighbor’s was electric. But our kickstart may have been a secondary but I’m unsure.
