I feel like the trio is looking better with each episode and the films they’ve made so far have been fun. Today’s episode was very enjoyable.

Still not a fan of the studio bits (regardless of what motoring show) but the films more than make up for it.

I actually thought the celeb section was probably the best one they’ve done in a very long time, I really enjoyed it, perhaps its due to Tamsin having worked with Matt previously so there is a relationship there

I watched the first episode of the new season last night and...I don’t know. When Chris slammed into the back of Matt’s Mercedes, doing more accident damage than was ever done to any cheap car challenge segment in one shot, IN THE FIRST CHALLENGE...I didn’t care for that.

I think scrapping lots of the old helped lots, especially after the bomb of the new season with the new hosts.

I wish they kept the celeb and news part separate though. I would like to see them argue about cars like they do on Extra Gear.

Yeah, it’s been pretty good - there’s bits I’m not a huge fan of, but they’re little things that will get sorted. Overall, I’ve been impressed so far though, plenty of fresh, interesting ideas
