As soon as a Mustang so equipped drives by a crowd it’ll divide by zero and implode into a singularity.

They can try, but the Mustang Operating System will disobey any commands that violate the prime directive, which in mOS is to destroy pedestrians and swang dat ass around when least appropriate.

Leaving? How many Kias do you see AT a C&C?

Joke’s on those crowds, the detection system is hooked up to the gas pedal from the factory.

People mix up brake and throttle all the time. Who’s to say a car can’t? Perhaps two wires are pinned wrong on the relevant control module. So mustang sees pedestrian, mustang hits throttle of its own [accidental] volition.

Plot twist.
‘Ford adds pedestrian detection system for F-150 and Mustang this fall, TO SEEK OUT PEDESTRIANS AND DESTROY THEM’.
