I’m just having a hard time wrapping my mind around my age. That movie was in heeeeeavy rotation on cable when I was a kid.
I really don’t mind getting older, but it is weird. I made a Top Gun reference with a couple of younger coworkers recently, and neither of them got it.

Well I am 25, so 1991, and that movie came out in 1989? Just wasn’t a movie I saw. Also wasn’t something I would have liked as a kid.
No! Only idiots don’t get Top gun references. They don’t deserve the lives they are living

I just saw that one of these are for sale in Maryville Tennessee for $1295. Indiana Auto and RV is a magical thing.

Yeah, you’re 10 years younger than I am, so it makes sense. It’s a solid comedy, and it’s free on Amazon Prime (I just fired it up), I recommend it if you want some good laughs. Baseball interest not required, I’ve never cared about baseball.
Thank you for confirming my Top Gun outrage was legit!

In my mind it is the best baseball movie.

I’m ashamed to admit that as a kid, I didn’t realize this was not an actual luxury car...
