That beautiful machine is the 1955 Chrysler Ghia Streamline X Coupe, better known as “Gilda”. She runs too, I’ll share my pics soon. Absolutely stunning in person.

When I first saw it, I thought it looked a lot like the FIAT Turbina concept from the ‘50s....very pretty car! Italian styling houses always knew what they were doing! :D

It really is beautiful, as is the Turbina. So many amazing concepts and testbeds back then, it’s really a fascinating topic. Jalopnik did an article on Gilda years ago:
