Nerdy.

Protomen are a rock opera like band their main material is based on a darker version of the Mega Man world.

Mc Frontalot is a Nerdcore rapper.

I’m not sure about Bit Brigade and Powerglove but I’m guessing they are heavily chipset and 8bit based music.

Bit Brigade and Power Glove were pretty similar except Bit Brigade had someone who played the game they were doing music for. So they were the sound track to the nes emulator haha. They guy playing would like make the character dance and stuff.
