about the architecture of Trump’s border wall. The caption reads:
A Jeep Cherokee making an attempt to cross the wall near Yuma, Arizona in 2011, using a foldable ramp that was attached to the truck. The suspected smugglers, driving from the U.S., escaped into Mexico leaving behind 1000 pounds of marijuana.
Cherokees don’t normally struggle with breakover angle, it looks like they could have used a little bit of a lift. Or maybe some more MaxTrax?

I feel like this could have been avoided with a tape measure a napkin and a pen.

Has quality product gotten so sparse in Mexico that they’re getting it from US now?

Also, 1000 lbs of Marijuana plus two smugglers is getting awfully close to running out the max load weight. C’mon, safety first, guys. SMDH.

I for one, learned trig so I could smuggle illegal substances across borders. Not for machining, as I lead people to think.

To them, they got the drugs across and them back, the vehicle just would have been icing on top. Just steal another one, now.

Quite honestly, yes. Over the past 10-20 years, most people have switched from low-potency Mexican outdoor weed to more specialized, stronger American and Canadian stuff. I haven’t smoked in a long time, but this is a pretty publicized shift in the news. I can imagine it’s hitting the Mexican economy pretty hard.

You throw the weed over the wall and THEN you will be properly committed to the crossing. Plus your truck will be lighter. YOLO...er...SUV (Solamente Unavez Vives!)

Yes. The cartels are now growing here, there have been several busts of Mexican grow operations in the Sierras. It still comes in from south of the border though, we’ve had Pangas land a couple miles from my house. Legalizing weed, in theory, will help reduce this because it’ll squeeze the black market and the American growers are going legit.

With a little more speed they’d have made the jump. Might not have stuck the landing, but hey, freedom.

quality has stayed the same. watching a Vise piece an odd side effect of indoor growing using Co2 generators the indoor grown weed has much higher thc/cbd content.
Also weed is large volume and hard to smuggle/hide, so now the majority is grown in the US and Canada. the cartels have focused on meth/ cocaine which is much smaller and easier to hide.
