It does have a bit of a grump face compared to it’s older sibling...I mean, Nuova 500, 500D and 500F’s all had a quaint little moustache! :P

I love the 500 and would love to have one, but their prices have gone up so steeply for decent ones. :(

The 126 has the same mechanicals, pretty much, with a few minor changes (like having a mostly synchronised transmission compared to no synchros in the 500) that make it actually easier to live with, so I started looking into it as an option for import instead.

I originally started to like the 126 as an option because it would have the same unique driving experience as the 500, despite the fact I wasn’t a huge fan of the looks, but, as stupid as it sounds, the little 126's....frumpy....charm has slowly worked its magic on me and I love it for it’s boxy angle-ness as much as I love the classic 500 for it’s jelly bean curves! :)

Can’t wait to have a 126 in my driveway....I even have the money saved now, I just don’t have the right living/work arrangements to make it a reality yet...*twiddles thumbs...*

Last time I tried that I didn’t fit was an NB Miata. My eye line was above the windshield. I’ve never had the opportunity with a Stratos.
