Next week on Wednesday, I will be on one of these flying to Paris, and then a shorter one flying to India.
I’m being sent (more correctly, dragged along by my boss) to spend three weeks at the company office in Bangalore.
On a related note: company policy says I cannot rent a car while in India.

Whatever it is, hopefully it won’t involve a sudden stop.

Or being routed through Bombay or Delhi. Which according to my Indian colleagues is like changing planes at LAX from International to Domestic, except with even more madness.

Those are excellent airports and I haven’t had any problems transiting from international to domestic travel. BOM is a beautiful airport.

I kinda like random trips sometimes, new food and culture nourish the mind and body. This usually means a trip to San Francisco for me.

So, will the company hire a driver for you then? Maybe you can convince the driver to pull over and let you take the wheel. One can dream.

Even worse. The hotel is less than 50 meters from our office. It’s literally the next building.

Plot twist: the route through BOM means transiting through EWR, because something something United and Air India codeshare...
I’ve spent enough time in EWR for a while. I’d rather go through CDG.

Room enough for doughnuts in the parking lot. Oh well.

Better pick some of these up while you’re there. You’ll have to check them, though.
