I say this tongue firmly in cheek, but because street cars are my day job, I find them deeply unfulfilling. My other job, however...
Much better. Also, snow capped mountains and race cars are a cool combination.

I’m just working on the thing, it ain’t as glamorous as it may seem. Believe me dude, I would much rather pack trucks than stand at the counter playing the customer service game, doing paperwork and answering phone calls like I do M-F. This is a part-time respite from that.

I’m not sure what it is about road cars that compels me, but I’m the opposite. Something about it easy to go fast when you strip a car down to be a racecar. They only work on race tracks, they’re fast but heavily compromised and hard to live with.
Also, series like NASCAR and everything else where the cars are just husks with the same engine and stickers for headlights. What’s the point of racing when all the
Chevrolets
and
Toyotas
and such are near-identical, and have literally nothing at all to do with the cars they’re “based” on

Welcome to the club. Street cars don’t tickle my fancy one bit. A McLaren P1 could come by here and i’ll be like, “neato”.
A lower class PWC Cayman could come on a trailer and i’ll literally jump up and down crying like a teen girl at a (insert current boy band fad) concert.

Welcome to the club, bud! There were hot race miatas here that did more for me than a 458, viper ACRS, and new Porsche GT3s & GT4 Caymans ( although, I admit, the Cayman GT4 is pretty badass...). No cage & slicks= meh, just an uncomfortable street car.
