Check out this 2016 Nissan !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for sale locally. First of all, it’s a Versa. Yuck. Second, it’s a rental car. Double yuck. Third, the explanation: “Someone tried to steal it and they found it later in the lot after it was cleared out of inventory.”
Um, what?

I bet you could show up at a lot with the asking price in cash and get an actual new one with no sketchy story.

I’m sure it was only submerged for a short time...

Its a rental Versa, run screaming and don’t look back. If the CVT isn’t falling out of it now its gonna in about 5 minutes.

The auction report shows over $9,000 of damage.

Am not understanding charging MSRP for a used base Versa, even if it wasn’t sketchy.

How’d you find it? Using the VIN? I’d be interested to see.

The only thing that could be more hinkey is if it were on “Letgo”.

I threw the vin into google, and was directed to an expired auction page. Bummer I couldn’t see any extra pictures of it.
