Sold the SS a few minutes ago. Feels bad man. Had to do it for good reasons, but damn. I puked in that car 20 years ago. I think it’s going to a good home at least.

That’s a crying shame. Sorry for your loss.

That puke will always be there in my heart. one day after I become a millionaire, I’ll be trolling in a junkyard on a hot summer day (as millionaires are wont to do) and smell it. Then spend ludicrous amounts of money restoring it.

Chevelle?
And keep track of it - might come back into your life someday.

one day. Though I feel that there will be a tough choice for a non-DD/luxury car. Even in 10 years LSx modders will make all but the most trashed SS relatively expensive (see: GTO and G8)
I’d probably go a different direction. a DB7 sort of direction.

the whole reason for the SS is a “do it all” type of car
(unless you need a truck)

Lots of videos show kids tracking dad’s old car down years later, getting it restored, and giving it back to him.

it’ll be a few years before Americans can import the LSx powered utes.

A guy down the street has a ratty 90s Impala SS, but I doubt the neighbors know that it is an interesting car since it looks so rough and like a regular Caprice.
Sorry you had to sell.

My cousin is a GM big shot. I said - you’ve got to try the SS (he can have anything he wants in the lineup except the highest end Corvette). He said we’ll see. When I saw him at Thanksgiving he had (wait for it) ... another new Cadillac!
