!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I’ve put together a dozen work orders this morning. Boss has thrown up condescending, confounding questions on literally every single thing I’ve done today.
Have some Friday music:

Is there a reason that guy is such a prick? Seems like you wouldn’t mind the work if the management wasn’t chode-tastic.

This is me, except:
- Boss is the one saying that.
- Boss then proceeds to micromanage.
Oh, and the fact that while we are not compatible people he does tend to stay calm. It’s a hairtrigger when he does go off, but then he usually comes back with an awkward (for both of us) apology. At the time that’s usually more annoying than reassuring, but after the fact it’s good to know that he’s not trying/trying not to be a douche...

Next time I’m in CLT, I’m buying you a beer.

I don’t know. He’s a control freak with a penchant for temper tantrums. I don’t mind the work. He’s the only one I don’t like here anyway, and it’s temporary. I’m meeting with my academic advisor Tuesday to talk about fast-tracking my way to my degree since I have so much other coursework finished.

Next time you’re in CLT, I’ll take you up on that offer.

It’s less ‘what’s the point in me being here’, because mentioning that might make them think ‘hey, we could do without this guy’ and you’d be out of a job.
I’d more go with ‘you’re paid x amount more than me, to basically do a job I’m already doing’.
It’s him that’s doing the pointless work and wasting company money. Not you.
