Which is odd... usually his stuff is spot on. If you don’t one there’s usually some scientific or historic context you’re missing.
So meh, I’ll give him a pass on this one.

i think his comment was that he knew what he was doing, and it just didn’t work with other geographically correct animals.
i have this one book where he goes through some of his favorite mix-ups and the backlash that ensued.
