Oddly enough I do. I once stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Georgetown. It’s a nice hotel, but unless you can grab a helicopter out of the Georgetown airport, you’ll probably want to stay closer to the fun in Austin.

I can definitely tell you what hotels not to stay in on the North side of Austin. If you can spring it go for a downtown hotel, but that’s personally more than I want to spend...

I did an AirBnb for the race last year and it was awesome. Was just east of downtown, had cool local spots and was easy enough to get to the shuttles each morning.

We used Airbnb when we went thI first year.
Keep an eye out for Will Buxton’s Big Time Bash. It is a fun party and proceeds go to charity.

Last time I stayed in Buda, right behind the Cabela’s so it was really easy to get to the race. It’s a little drive to the downtown festivities but I skipped those and spent all day at the track.

That being said, hotel wasn’t anything special. I had points and it was a microtel I believe.

You can crash at my house. I’m like 1.5 hours away though.
