Since it was almost 70F here today in Wisconsin I decided to get started on fixing the radiator on the Vette.
Step 1: remove hood
Step 2: remove radiator
Easy peasy
Now I just need to call a few places for quotes on recoring the radiator.

I thought so, but couldn’t see the door locks clearly. My father has a ‘69 as well, but it looks to be more of a mutt than yours.
I like the side pipes on yours. It looks good.

It looks in better shape than it is. My goal this year is to get it running well. The radiator is the first thing. Then I have to figure out a starting issue. It doesn’t like to start when the engine is hot, when it’s cold it fires right up. And I think there is a small power steering leak somewhere too.

Check your timing, probably a bad vaccum advance canister stuck to full advance. If it cranks hard and long when hot, it is almost 100% of the time, timing.

I will definitely check that out once I get the radiator done.
