A while back, I replaced the brake pads on my Vespa with new EBC pads.
I was given sound advice on Oppo to replace the damaged rotors, so I did. At the same time, I swapped the mostly new EBCs with Malossi pads, highly recommended by my pals at Scooterwest.com.
My brakes are noticeably better. But my front brake squeaks like a motherfucker. Any tips?

when you took off the old pads, there might have been some shims behind them. did you put those on the new pads? because you kinda need to.

Sometimes there are options for pad material of Organic vs Metalic, metalic generally stop better and last longer but can squeel like a stuck pig. Organic stop just fine and are generally a bit cheaper but may not last as long, while being quite. Not sure is true for a vespa or not.

That was my first thought as well, shims. My old Honda required them. Badly.

May need some goop on back of pads?
Or maybe you didn’t install a shim?
