This time we’re looking at a 1985 Subaru L-Series with just 119 000 km. No visible rust as it has never been driven in salt.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
All yours for $2000. The only catch is that it is located in Norway. If I had space I would buy it..

Swap in some new mats and you’ve got yourself a very clean car. Nice price! Those died out in the Netherlands in the 90s, maybe very early 00s. Due to rust, because we do salt our roads occasionally and I remember those 80s Subarus being quite susceptible to rust. I haven’t seen one of those in ages.

I rarely see them here either, but there are some for sale that has been driven in a dry and salt-free environment. My family had a white one in the late 90's, and only swapped it because we wanted a newer Legacy wagon and couldn’t afford to have both.

I had one of these in a three-door back in the late 80's. I’m voting nice price. Even better is that they were available with a turbo, before most people realized the performance potential of Subaru turbos.

What’s stopping you from buying this and taking it to the Oppo meet next month? ;)

Mostly the fact that I have a MSc thesis to write, but also that I don’t want to park this on the street in Oslo. I would have bought it if I had a proper place to put it!
I’ll join the Oppo meet next time, hopefully in the Volvo!

NP if it really isn’t just hiding a bunch of rust. Here in the USA similar ones sell for about the same in much worse condition. I’d pay up to $5k for one that clean.
