Huh, who knew two little things like tie rod ends and getting a four wheel alignment would make the ride in my tired old Focus that much better? But it did! No more slack in the steering, wheel whobble when under braking, and a good deal of the clunking when going over the many 1,000's of pot holes in Toledo has been silenced. My car does need new struts & shocks, as well as other bits & pieces, but at least it steers straight & I don’t have to worry that the wheels will actually fall off the car.
Next up, a water pump for the wife’s T & C!

I need to start finding all the bits and pieces for the Mazda5 suspension. Oh and the money for it too I guess.
There’s nothing “wrong” but the word is that the factory suspension wears out quickly (3 row mpv on a 3/focus/c30 platform), so it seems prudent to refresh it all at about 100k (so 2018?). There’s a fair amount of bumpsteer that may be mitigated by this. Maybe?

I recently had my Jeep’s tires balanced. Pretty sure I tossed a wheel weight like, 15,000 miles ago and the others have gone AWOL since then. Finally gave in and did something. I really enjoy not watching the brush guard shake as I go down the road.

What part of Toledo? I grew up over by savage hall.

I should probably consider something like that... a mechanically-oriented friend of mine recently drove the Jimmy and said the amount of looseness in the steering is becoming pretty alarming
