Heh. Everyone sends stickers I’d never apply. All I ever run is a name sticker I get from Upgrade RC (all the pros do this, and they all order from the place/site). Sometimes a tire or manufacturer sticker on a throwaway kit body, but I like my cars clean.

I apply manufacturer decals for the bits that I have installed in my RCs, like HobbyWing and Mamba. Oh speaking of which, I need to apply the Mamba decals to my Mini-T.

Haha, this was pretty good. Unrelated, But I’m glad to be back in the hobby, I bought an ARRMA Raider XL Mega last night, but I’m so lost now (LiPos are a thing?). oppo needs an RC section.

I’ve made an RC blog, but no one really visits it unless you share out to another blog. I’ll go ahead and make you an author!

Oh, and LiPo’s are the shit, until they blow up, then your RC is shit.

I did that when I was a noob, but I didn’t have enough for all my bodies and eventually you have too much stuff for it to be accurate.
Mine are AE, Sanwa/Airtronics, Futaba (BLS - brushless, high-speed, high-torque) or Airtronics, Tekin, and motors are a mess (old Vipers, Reedys, Tekins, and Schuurs)... The mix might be wrong at some point, so no point putting them on there. I also run tires and wheels from JConcepts, Pro-Line, and even Losi, with specific foam + tire combos. That could be an even bigger mess...

Will this work on real cars? Because KIDZ don’t like the Integra as much as I though they would :(

Weird. It’s got the engine that kids like...

Why do LiPo batteries blow up? Is this something that happens a lot? A few years back I dabbled in RC cars but figured I didn’t have the time and money to do as I wanted.

What ever happened to that guy? I used to watch every review and video that he put out. It seemed like he just disappeared all of a sudden

If you mistreat a lithium battery, it will burst into flames. Lithium Polymer batteries have a higher discharge rate and are therefore more unstable.

His local RC track relocated far away and he couldn’t drive his RCs anywhere nearby.

That’s too bad. He made very high quality videos. I always loved his durability montage. I can’t imagine having a hobby that important to you ripped away like that.

So in a small RC car that bounces around off jumps and whatnot seems like the perfect application.

Batteries are pretty safe when strapped into an RC car. If you drag them, hit them against anything, puncture them, etc, it’ll burst into flames. In high school, a couple of friends and I punctured an old LiPo in a friend’s cul de sac and it immediately started smoking and burst into flames. It was probably very irresponsible, but we had fun.
