No secret that the paint on the Fox Body is... rough. Especially the black lower half. Some semigloss Rustoleum and a half hour fixed that right up.

What kind of prep did you do? Even with a spray clear it should hold up if you worked your elbow.

Not much. Probably going to redo the bottom half at a later date with some aggressive sanding to get the urethane bumpers smoothed out.

Looks pretty good. It’s hard to paint urethane bumpers without flex agent and a lot of etch primer, but a ten-footer with solid black is easy to touch up.
