Been commenting on Jalopnik since ‘09, maybe earlier... Not sure why I’ve been grayed, or reduced to common pond scum as I like to think about it, for all Jalopnik (non-oppo) posts. Did I do a bad?
Hey , I even had a couple COTDs, and this was when Spiegel was dominating them every day so, I mean, common, that’s pretty good...

I’ve been grayed since the Kinja rollout. I hardly ever comment on the FP anymore because it feels like a waste of time to comment when no one will ever see it.

I haven’t once be ungreyed since the rollout of that system. Which is obnoxious, because I had stars on multiple blogs when those were a thing.

I left when they rolled out Kinja am ungreyed on the FP. I think I commented once or twice between Feb 2013 and April 2016.

I questioned their Tesla-shilling and iffy historical accuracy in some of the “stories”. Maybe did both in one day, then done. A couple of them in particular don’t like being questioned. It isn’t the legitimate motoring press, it’s a blog managed by Spicer clones.

For a bunch of “journalists,” they are very thin-skinned. I was hoping Balababababan and Patrick George would get canned along with Gawker sale. Torch and Petrany are the only regulars producing any decent content.

I think a major part of the problem is that as a blog, Jalopnik and other main pages ( unlike Oppositelock ) do not have clearly defined guidelines for what can get you kicked into the greys.
