I like to refer to it as laycation or lays off. We were joking in 2015 that we were all going to go on lays off instead of days off. I remember asking one engineer when I was going to get laid off, he was like never you’re a lifer.

It’s been pretty terrible, but I haven’t touched my savings and I’ve still got the M3. I’m also really excited to work a normal schedule, no more 12 hour days everyday of the week.

I went karting during Xmas vacation (twice) for the first time in a while. So much fun and a good way to get kids involved in driving/cars. I drove electric go karts with a post button too, so much fun!

I’ve got Monday off for family day (a Canadian thing) and I only have to go to class every month on Tuesday (the rest is online). My next class is Wednesday at 5 pm lol.
