Got me some new tires.
Of course, doggo has to investigate. With his nose. And tongue.
Mounting probably will come next week.

I’m actually considering those when my V12s are done. They’re 5 years old by the end of this convertible season.

Reminds me of a story a neighbor once told me. They had a dog that had a penchant for eating its own turds. The neighbor brought it up with the vet and the vet said to put meat tenderizer in the dog’s food. Neighbor asks how that will keep the dog from eating its turds.
Vet says it’ll make the turds taste bad.

I’ve always had them delivered to the place where I’m having them mounted, I now realize I’ve been my depriving my doggo of investigation time. I should be ashamed.

My old ones are about that age. They’re starting to show it, too.

I like the ExtremContact series, I’ve had good luck with them in the past.

I don’t think he tried it because, well, how could you possibly make a turd taste worse?

To be fair, pretty much everything tastes good to a Lab.

Got these put on my mazda 3 in 2015. About 15k later they are still solid tires.

Yeah, he loves licking and playing with tires for some reason. I mainly had them shipped to my house because the installer I use isn’t on Tire Rack’s network, and they’re just as good as most places, and cheaper.

The reviews for them were really good. The only more highly rated tires in my size were summers, which I’m not going to get until I get a second set of wheels.
Also, these weigh 2 pounds less (each!) than all the other tires in my size. That’s quite a bit of weight savings!

We’ve had a lot of Labs in my family over the years - that’s a true statement.

I’ve had these and the pilot sport A/S and I can tell I like my conti’s way better

I was actually looking for the Pilot Sport A/S 3s at first, but nobody around here had a full set of them in my size, and Tire Rack didn’t have them in my size at all. Went with the Contis, and it sounds like I made the right choice.

Yeah, I’m sure mine are going to start downhill as well, it’s already not as grippy in the rain. Probably gonna push for one more season though as I build up my car maintenance fund.

The A/S 2's I had were much better in the dry, but they wore WAY too fast and sucked in the wet. surprisingly okay in the snow.

My back hurts at the thought of hauling 4 tires around so I just use my Bimmer mechanic who is part of the Tire Rack network, It is really slick I shoot them an e-mail that they are coming, the call me and set up an appointment when they get there.

My outgoing fronts are Yokohama S-Drives (summers). Really good performance, but they wear incredibly fast. When I put them on 2 1/2 years ago they were close to new. 20,000 miles later, they’re close to done. They’re also utterly useless in the snow.
