Sounds like Porsche is not worried about the hierarchy anymore. That, or the next 911RS gets 550hp.

I must be getting tired, I read the topic as Dual 4.0l in a Cayman. I was thinking that might be a little excessive.

Sounds very fast. But it’s not very pretty looking car. The front part is way too big for the car. 911 has a lot more balanced appareance. That of course doesn’t matter if you just trying to go fast.

Don’t forget the reserve fee for the chance to pay that $25k + MSRP.

So, more like $50k + MSRP. And you know these bloody things are going be limited production.

Trying to talk my rich friend into getting one, selling it as an “investment opportunity” .

It sort of is, the GT4s are trading hands for like 150k right now up here.

It totally is.

Matter of fact, he could drive it for like 10k miles and still sell it for a profit.

I think that this particular photo is taken with a wide angle lens, making the front look rounder and more bulbous.

But if you’r talking about the actual car, I have no complains about how it looks (the current GT4).

I’m sure they’ll take care of their 911 line.

Or they’ll make this insanely expensive, or insanely rare or both.

Or they’ll just call this a 911 RSR Straßenversion.

Well the important thing is, I get to drive it. For free.

From the side view the nose doesn’t look long at all. But if you see it from the view from where you can see both headlights, it starts to look very excessively long and heavy.

I think that air vent in front of the bonnet/hood might be the reason. A 991 (non GT3) doesn’t have this and the nose looks shorter and lighter. A 991 GT3 has similar vent, and I don’t really like that design feature either.

Hmm I see what you mean now.

I still like the design, but that’s very subjective.

Aaaannnndddd there goes any similarity to the GT4 class of cars. But seriously they might as well call this the GT3, the now GT3 the GT2 and the roumered GT2 a GT1. It might then kick the other manufacturers into making a GT1 class!
