Canned potatoes and Spam. A cheap and quick to make meal when it’s cold out and you’re hungry.
Ingredients:
Spam and potatoes
Step 1: Open Spam
Step 2: Cut Spam into pieces
Step 3:Open and drain canned potatoes. (The can says these are potatoes but I’m not sure. They don’t really taste like potatoes, but I like them.)
Step 4: Preheat a lightly greased pan over medium heat
Step 5: Dump stuff into pan (I throw a few slices of butter in)
Step 6: When desired crispiness is achieved, place contents into Spider-Man bowl/mug and enjoy.

Throw some eggs in there and wrap it in a tortilla.

Take a few extra minutes to turn your canned potatoes into potato dumplings, then you’ll have a version of a Norwegian dish called Kumla.

I will have to try that.
A large portion of my family is from Norway, so gjetost and fiskerboller make regular appearances at gatherings.

Spam is always good, but I prefer to use hash browns

If you are eating SPAM, then an onion is required. I would throw some peppers (green and/or red) in there too.
PS-You skipped a step of scraping that gelatinous stuff off the SPAM.

Not a fan of peppers or onions.
I think it’s a texture thing because I like the flavor of onions and will use copious amounts of onion powder in the making of things.
You skipped a step of scraping that gelatinous stuff off the SPAM.
The good stuff?
Actually, there usually isn’t much of that goo in actual SPAM. The generic ones usually have a good 1/4" layer of the stuff. *wretches slightly*

Thank you for your fine rendition of a Lazy Winter Meal. I have never partaken of canned potatoes but I must give this graphic recipe a go, so I’m off to the grocery store for a few cans of (canned) potatoes and a replacement can of my seriously outdated single can of SPAM. I hope you don’t mind if I forego the Spidey mug and your twisty tool, as I have neither.

I have some Spam in my cupboard Just In Case [Whatever]. I do not have canned taters though. You’d think, being me, I would for some reason.
