Well....no school for me again today (teaching). We had a storm on Thursday which canceled school on Friday and it is currently 6:47am and I am sitting in my living room looking out at a dawn blizzard that started around 3am and is supposed to go until midnight tonight with warnings for 30-70(!)cm of snow.

I’ll be lucky if we keep power....they’re saying this could become another !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! and, having lived through that.....I would rather it not.

MANY snowy Italians for your time from my favoraite photos I’ve collected from online over the years....because I have nothing else to do. Wish me luck Oppo!

Sadly, I’ve been at school six days this week. Spent Sunday working on the car, then today, right back to school. I need a vacation already.

Heh.. yeah, I remember Connaught being basically a trench cut through the snow, deep enough that traffic was just a progression of car roofs. That stretch a couple winters ago wasn’t far off it either.

Guess we’ll see how much accumulation we end up with.

Yup...how are things in the city compared to Lunenburg/Mahone Bay where I am? Can’t believe it’s only 10am there it’s supposed to keep at this all the way until midnight...

Visibility’s probably 5 or 600ish feet most of the time, down to 200 or less occasionally. What little I can see of the harbour once in a while looks pretty nasty, and wind direction is all over the place at ground level.
