When you bought your car you like the options you got, but as time went on I wish you got different options.
Cayenne Red looks fantastic, but there is one spec that I love.
Cosmic Blue, white accents, gun metal wheels. Almost like this:
Edit: Name the model of car too.

The only thing to add to my car is GPS, so that.
Oh, and Honda’s Cool Blue Metallic:

If used still counts, here we go.
I’d want a leather wrapped wheel, the HPP pack, and the 3.27 LSD (not 100% sure if the 3.55s were an option in 96). Interior would still be saddle cloth, exterior would still be Toreador red, it still wouldn’t have automatic climate control, and the gauges would still be analog.

I would have wished for a manual but that was never an option. though if I could get it the way I want it I would have gotten cloth seats, no sunroof, no factory roof rack and it would have been green. I love the green they made.
Still would have gotten the 3rd row and diff locks and if possible the auto climate control.

That’s easy. I have one thing about each of my cars that I’ve always wanted to change.
For the Audi, I’d want it in black or maroon rather than beige.
For the Spider, I’d want a manual rather than an automatic.

S10:
Add power windows, locks, and mirrors
Add keyless entry and onboard computer
Add 4WD and locking rear end
Remove sloppy 5-speed manual with mile long throws for 4L60E
Change solid bench seat for power buckets w/ center console
Change color from red to blue
Change truck body for SUV body
Add sunroof
Basically give me a Blazer LS 4WD in exchange for my S10 Base 2WD...

Hmm, let’s see. I’ve got an Integra. If it was a GSR instead of LS I’d be happy with it.

I currently have a 2005 Focus Wagon with a manual.
If I had to change the spec, I would add ABS, power windows and change the cheaply designed/constructed overhead console to a simpler and less rattly overhead fixed shelf.
I would also spec it wth seats out of an SVT Focus.
Mechanically, the engine has enough power, though the transmission is showing its age. Ford put in cheaper ATF fluid in these when new instead of the synthetic manual transmission fluid that is recommended. I wish it came with the proper fluid from the start because 1st and 5th gear has the problem of popping out of gear occasionally... and I bet it wouldn’t have this issue if ford had put in the proper fluid from the start.
I changed the fluid to the proper fluid, but that will only stop it from getting worse... the damage from the cheap fluid is done.
Also the previous owner had installed cheap assed crappy winter tires. I already bought a new set of Nokian Nordman WR 4 season tires that are hugely better... but I put the shitty winter tires back on for the winter and I plan on using them up and then putting the Nokians back on... so that’s one spec change that will happen.

haha! not specific enough!
my ‘79 trans am, I would have gone with the snowflake wheels, the 400/4 speed, the ws6 package, and all the power options! Also would have got the uber expensive panasonic cassette deck upgrade. The guy who bought mine optioned it like a cruiser.
My mini I would have done much differently as well. I wouldn’t have bought it.
the full length sunroof would have been cool, and is the only thing my car doesn’t have that I wanted.

2004 Mini Cooper
I would option it in Chili Red with white roof and mirrors and white hood stripes. I would also get the aero kit and JCW package.

If the option was available at the time I probably would of gone for Piglet on Sportline trim rather than Se L Exec.
Piglet, Petrol Blue Metallic, Se L Exec
Dragon Green Metallic, Sportline
I know it looks yellow.
I’d stick with the same engine, 1.4TSi ACT as well, only change the spec.
The difference is just over £2,000.
The Sportline has a limited paint colour not available on other specs and has a black grille, black wing mirrors and a few little touches.

For the 95 miata, I’ve got power locks and windows, but would have gotten air-conditioning too if I specced it new. Maaaaaaybe manual steering. Undecided. The bbs wheels from the m edition would have worked, if only because I could flip them for half the value of the car.
2008 Subaru outback is a base model automatic. Gas mileage is already terrible so I would have loved to have the 6 cylinder. Plus a manual. And sun roof. Keep the cloth seats though.

My 2004 Solara is exactly the way I would want it. Leather interior top trim level, moon roof, fog lights. I wish it had a manual but that wasn’t an option for the V6, and in this case I would rather have the power than the driving engagement, because lets face it, this is a “sporty” 2 door Camry. Not exactly the height of driving pleasure.

2016 Toyota Prius Liftback, Three, Hypersonic Red.
Of what’s available in the US market on a 2016 Liftback, I got the right configuration. However, now that I’ve had it for a few months, I want two options from the (2017) Prime, I want one option from European-market 2016 cars, and I always wanted a color that was JDM-only.
I want the heated steering wheel from the Prime Advanced (although I don’t have lane departure or radar cruise control, so those buttons would be inactive), and the cloth heated front seats from the Prime Plus (that’d be annoying to mod in, too, because there’s a lot of stuff that I’m missing for heated seats).
I want dual-zone climate control, which is unavailable in the US, even while it’s standard in Europe. Good news is, as far as I can tell, there’s only two differences - the climate control head itself, and one damper servo. That, I might mod in.
Finally, I really would’ve wanted Thermo-Tect Lime Green, but had to settle for Hypersonic Red due to that color being JDM-only.
(Photo shows both Hypersonic Red (well, Emotional Red in Japan, but it’s the same color) and Thermo-Tect Lime Green.)

On the GTI, I wish that I’d got automatic climate control, and the CarPlay-compatible head unit that was fitted from 2016 onward. Performance Pack would have been nice, too.
For the Triumph, I wish that it had the (relatively rare) fuel injected engine, and a sunroof. I know who to blame for that, too – my grandfather was the one who ordered it from the factory!

2006 BMW 330Ci ZHP 6MT-
I don’t know if the rules of the challenge allow body style changes, but I think if I bought the car new in 2006 I would’ve gone for the convertible with the black leather vs. the grey I have, and all the other options would be the same.
