3.0 Turbo AWD XC60. What say you OPPO?

Nah, get a Miata

But I need a city car.

Is it armoured? I know people complain about these vehicles feeling outdated inside.

4WD, powerful and good around town?

Yes, apparently insurance companies won’t insure any armoured car that is over 3 years old (unless it is a Toyota of some sort). My options are not so good now.
What is it about the interior people don’t like?

ImmortalMinority was in one a few weeks ago and didn’t have great things to say. Seats are fantastic, apparently, but the interior feels ten years old (since it is). Infotainment, the way the console is set up, et cetera.

Jokes aside, the Volvo is a great car for comfort and practicality. A friend of mine has an “oppo limited edition” one of those (base, diesel, manual but unluckily not brown) and I really like it for what it is

I’ll look into it, the other options are the newer smaller crossovers things (Q3, X1) or a Freelander. Of them all, I actually prefer the XC60 interior I think.

The one I’m looking at is brown! But we sadly never got the diesels here.

You’re not missing much.
If you can deal with petrol bills, always go petrol

We have a law prohibiting the sale of Diesel passenger cars here, the only exceptions are 4X4 SUVS and pick-ups and the diesel versions command a 50% premium over the petrol ones.
I’m ok with the petrol bills

If it’s new, wait for the new generation that is supposed to come out later this year as a 2018.
If used, go for it

Probably used.

Do it!

Do it! Lots of smooth power, seats comfortable enough for 1,000km+ drives, roomy, very elegant.
