I know, its perfect. I am a genius. I am sure none of the other 1700 comments on YouTube alone before mine suggested it.

YES! I’m so disappointed this hasn’t been suggested a billion times already - I tried suggesting it, but autotrader was being stupid with me

In all seriosuness, I want him to buy a vintage suburban. Like from the early 60s at the YOUNGEST. It would be cool to see how the old old OLD cars stack up. You could do a tire test (see if modern wheels and tires make it a lot better compared to old wheels and reproduction tires) and maybe tow a boat or something and do a vintage weekend. He’d get tonsof views by being creative with it.....

When he said he was looking for an SUV I knew it had to be done.

FJ40/45/55/60/62 is the answer.

Sorry, I keep forgetting Doug is an Internet Celebrity. I just remember him as a Jalopnik writer and I think I watched one of his videos once. The one where he first got the Ferrari. But you would already know all about my living under a rock if you followed me on Twitter.

I know its nuts how semi-viral his stuff goes now. I watch other YouTubers with twice the amount of subs that get a QUARTER as many comments as he gets on his videos.

And when he was writing here, the comments would fill up 10x more quickly than all other articles (100+ within 5-10 minutes of posting). I still have no idea how he did that, the man was some kind of media machine.

Hondabro posted that Vehicross, that would be pretty sweet if a bit boring because it is probably a pretty reliable car.

No, he had some bullshit reasons why he couldn’t, even though it was pretty high on the list either last year or two years ago.

Yeah other than the “What kind of car it that?” schtick, it wouldn’t break down or be the butt of many jokes...

I had two suggestions.
1) Stereotypical Ram SRT10, I would like to have one and am curious what it is like
2) Chevy SSR
I would like Doug to prove that this could be used by humans
However, I fully support the LaForza, I have never heard of it before.

PLEASE Everyone is recommending boring cars that have 1000+ videos made about them, not even Saabkyle has made a video about the LeForza, it’s the best choice! Also the Vehicross is a good #2 option.

Those are two good choices.... he’ll probably say the SRT10 is too close to his Viper, but the SSR? MINT.

But I feel like those 2 cars can be summed up in one video, for the SRT-10 it’s a Ram 1500 with a Viper engine which he already had and the SSR would have a video about it’s quirks (like the Mangusta) and otherwise would be a reliable boring car.

Come on guys, we all know the answer is International MXT. They can be had right around his $70k mark and hold their value oddly well. Plus, I want to read about Doug going through a CDL class and testing.. Also the hood flips forward too so it’s actually a sports car.

I know Doug is open to Japanese Imports, and a whole other world emerged. It is too bad he has the S-Cargo, because I found a deluxe better version.

This may or may not be something that my car did.

I suggested SSR as well. So much potential. How does it work as a truck? How about sports car? How about a convertible? It also seems to be holding its value quite well. I can’t remember the last time somebody wrote about one.

I would have written an article, but the last time I sat in one was 13 years ago. My article would go something like this.
The 2003 Chevy SSR. It is not comfortable. My head doesn’t fit, my legs don’t fit, and my back doesn’t fit. Get me out.

Searched to try and find any for sale, expecting nothing, but surprisingly, there’s a few for sale, for not a whole lot of money. though sadly, most are in really terrible shape.

Personally, I think Doug should buy them all.
