When I sold my Grand Cherokee on Craigslist, I was “that guy” who took nice photos with a nice camera and used the gaussian blur filter in photoshop to selectively blur the license plate.

You know maybe the reason I couldn’t sell the 128i on CL was cause I didn’t use my finger to obscure the license plate and then over price it by 5 grand and say no low ballers and then added a bunch of words at the bottom to make it show up when people search for completely unrelated cars.

Those are sweet! I think they’ve aged quite well and were definitely ahead of their time. Mixed feelings about the plastic lower body though.

The plastic just means you can scratch it or rip it off on a rock and get a new one without having to paint it.

At one time, yes. As the owner of a ‘97 LX450, I’m very familiar with how easily those plastic clips break and how hard they’ve become to source since Toyota discontinued them.
