It’s a 1976 Cordoba, 360, Cali car.

The up sides..
- Relatively rust free
- Possibly willing to straight trade for my 86 200X
- It’s a “round light” Cordoba
- A B body is a B body. Parts interchange galore
The Downers?
- Non-runner so it could be a pricey tow
- It’s triple Green
We’ll see if he emails back.

I’m guessing you are from the area, but I wouldn’t take the relatively rust free statement at face value even if the car did spend most of it’s life in Cali. It’s in Illinois now, and it’s been there long enough to be a car he considers good for turning into a demolition car.

Dat green Corinthian leather!
That will be an expensive tow though. My 86 mile tow home from Byron cost me $217, and that was after the $100 off from my insurance’s towing coverage and after I begged for the mercy of a discount (which I only got because the driver screwed up initially and quoted me a much lower price).

If you have a tow vehicle you could rent a car trailer and DIY the tow for under $100. Might need something to winch it onto the trailer if it’s a non runner though.

My parents had one before I was born! Burgundy with the vinyl half roof and velour burgundy interior! I still have the original key for it. Sadly, instead of selling it, dad parked it on our property and there it rotted from a year or two before I was born until the late 90's...
Always a sense of wonderment as a kid looking at the big forboding thing, but also sadness at how far it had faded away to a rusty mess....
Good luck with it!!! :D
